Theme packs drive the whole look: 20 built-in themes in five families, light/dark per pack, switchable surface styles, wallpapers with frosted glass.

The Neox desktop app drives its entire look with theme packs — a single seed color expands into a full token system, paired with a matching wallpaper. Switch under Settings → Preferences → Appearance.

How to switch

Settings → Preferences → Appearance — pick a built-in theme pack; background, cards, accent color, and wallpaper switch instantly as a set.
Layout — the same page lets you toggle between Floating and Flat layouts.

Light and dark

Neox does not have one global light/dark switch — each theme pack is inherently light or dark. For a dark look, pick a dark pack (marked · dark below).

Wallpaper and glass

Every theme pack ships with a matching wallpaper. With a wallpaper theme enabled, the right-side panels (AI / terminal / Git) become translucent frosted glass layered over the wallpaper; dropdown menus, session history, and similar surfaces stay opaque for readability.
